I would check into a new cooling fan blade, it is probably warped or out of balance causing the bracket to snap.

My rodeo is running hot. It is not steaming or bubbling over and the fan has been replaced would my next option be to replace the thermostat.

Or put more engine coolant/water into it. you might need to put some directly into the radiator. The fan isn't the major cooling agent in the engine, the water/coolant is. Just make sure you don't over fill or under fill the tank holding the extra coolant, the radiator should be full though.

hope it helps.

Water pump replacement 96 isuzu rodeo

Remove belt, fan, fan shroud and fan bracket. Remove timing covers, timing belt and water pump. Replace timing belt and the hydraulic tensioner with new ones. I suggest you get a mechanic to do this as you can easly get it out of time. Not an easy job.
