There is a special tool that can be purchased at your local auto parts store. First, you need to release the fuel pressure. This can be done by very carefully pressing on the schrader valve that is located on the fuel rail. Please wear safety glasses and be sure the engine is cool.

Hold the fuel line and lightly push it toward the fuel rail. Install the tool and release the spring retainer. While holding the tool in pull the line off. Good luck.

Cambelt timing marks 4jx1

sounds like the injector sleeve O rings have failed this was common.
if you put a clear plastic piece of hose on supply line for diesel fuel filter to head fitting at front and fuel is not black but normal diesel colour thats good.
then put clear hose on return line fitting at rear of cylinder head and fuel is now darker, engine oil is by passing injector sleeve top O rings and entering into fuel gallery in head.
rocker cover, injector rail, injectors need removing and injector sleeves need replacing as well as O rings and seats.
a special tool is needed to remove the injector sleeves out of the head. you will also need to drain the cooling system before removing the injector sleeves, so coolant is also needed.
dealers have special tool for injector sleeves

My isuzu truck mixes diesel and engine oil. what is the cause?

the injector are along top of engine , the lines all run back to a pump usually attached to engine side, only unit with multiple metal tubes running out to engine top, removal of injectors requires some special tools. this requires good diesel knowledge and tools to repair either one.

How to install a fuel injector on a 2002 jeep liberty 3.7

so that mean the old one is all ready removed.?
or did you mean all steps in the fsm for INJECTOR.
the steps are the same on all EFI fuel rail injectors.
you could google that or you tube it or read the FSM.

hide call keys from step 2 on, or very bad things can happen.
(wife or kids no aware of danger)
ill just cover the (basics)
1: per FSM , depressurize the system, in can be at 60PSI
parked. so avoid fuel in eyes, or a fire. we do that first.
gain access to rail under failure. (RUF) (no barking)
2: remove injector X , wire plug. (failing)
3: then detach the injector rail clamps the both rails off as one....
injector are all now loose, to pull off.
4: add new seals to new injector, and install in reverse order.

that's it, only the gain access , varies,... mostly.

last depressure steps:
run engine,
remove fuel pump relay, engine stalls. key off, hide keys
!

next tje FSM words (just the OFF section)

  1. Remove fuel tank filler tube cap.
  2. Perform Fuel System Pressure Release Procedure.
  3. Remove negative battery cable at battery.
  4. Remove air duct at throttle body air box.
  5. Remove air box at throttle body.
  6. Disconnect fuel line latch clip and fuel line at fuel rail. A special tool will be necessary for fuel line disconnection.
  7. Remove necessary vacuum lines at throttle body.
  8. Disconnect electrical connectors at all 6 fuel injectors. Push red colored slider away from injector. While pushing slider, depress tab and remove connector from injector. The factory fuel injection wiring harness is numerically tagged (INJ 1, INJ 2, etc.) for injector position identification. If harness is not tagged, note wiring location before removal.
  9. Disconnect electrical connectors at throttle body sensors.
  10. Remove 6 ignition coils.
  11. Remove 4 fuel rail mounting bolts.
  12. Gently rock and pull left side of fuel rail until fuel injectors just start to clear machined holes in cylinder head. Gently rock and pull right side of rail until injectors just start to clear cylinder head holes. Repeat this procedure (left/right) until all injectors have cleared cylinder head holes.
  13. Remove fuel rail (with injectors attached) from engine.

How to remove bad gas from 2001 impala

Bad gas can cause several concerns depending on what's in it. If it's only a liquid type bad gas then it can be purged. If it has debris it's another story. With a liquid only concern, a scan tool can be used to turn on the fuel pump and pump out the fuel by removing the fuel line at the injector rail or fuel filter. The fuel is under pressure so please use safety glasses and relieve the pressure. If the fuel had debris in it, the tank should be removed and completely cleaned, the lines should be purged, the filter replaced and an injector flush performed which requires a special tool. Fill the tank with fresh gas after repairs and monitor engine performance. The fuel injectors have tiny orifices that spray the fuel and are subject to clogging. If there's any reason you can't give four thumbs up, please request more information. Thanks and good luck!

How to change fuel filter on 1996 Ford Bronco, 5.8 l engine

You'll need to have a fuel line disconnect tool. This tool can be made of plastic or metal, but the utilization is the same. You can purchase these tools at most auto parts stores. The fuel lines have a "quick disconnect" end on them where the filter attaches. After you've relieved the pressure from the fuel line (line pressure's usually around 60psi so you should wear eye protection). Techniques vary you can remove the fuel pump relay, and start the engine till it shuts down, or (needs another special tool). Attach hose from tool to test port on fuel rail by injectors and drain fuel into suitable container. You can also remove the cap from the test port and with a rag covering the port to catch fuel, depress the schrader vale (like a tire valve). This isn't really the best way, because gasoline can get on you and will inevitably get on the engine. Not always a good situation if engines hot. (To be honest with you, at work I usually just slightly disconnect the line at the filter. Only enough to bleed the fuel pressure off and let it drain into a bucket.) To remove, you'll have to insert the tool into the line around the filter neck at one end. You'll then be able to separate it from the filter. Repeat on other end. You may have to wiggle and twist a bit, as the filter necks might be sticking to the o-ring seal in the connector. Don't force it, as you can damage the connection, and you'll then be purchasing new fuel lines. Most of these filters are retained in a bracket on the frame rail using a big hose clamp. Naturally you'll have to loosen that to pry out and remove the filter. Aside from the initial fuel spillage, and any fuel that might drain down through the lines, the fuel in the tank will remain in the tank. Typically the filter is mounted well above the tank where the pickup tube is located, so siphoning won't be an issue.
I hope this helps
