There are a couple of possibilities here. That type of code can set due to low battery voltage at one or more of your computer modules. The integrity and codition of the battery and charging system should be verifeid FIRST. If you have had to jump-start your vehicle (for whatever reason) this could be the cause of this code. If this is the reason for it, all that needs to be done is to repair whatever caused the low battery condition and clear the code.
Otherwise, there is a problem in the data circuits between the modules in your vehicle. If there has not been a low or shorted battery condition, then there is most likely an open circuit in your CCD BUS (network circuit wires) You will have to diagnose the problem with a scan tool that has the capabilities to access the ENTIRE computer network in your vehicle to determine where the problem is actually located. Possible causes are broken wires, or loose or corroded connectors, or a failed computer module. Please note that computer module failures are relatively RARE. I do not recommend replacing ANY computer module without FIRST performing proper diagnostics to PROVE that a loss of communication is the fault of the module itself and not the circuits leading to it.
