SOURCE: broken hose connection on intake manifold

This is a ugly thing that happens all the time at my shop. The best way to repair this is to drill the material out and retap the hole . you will need a 1/2 pipe tap, they have them at home depot or your local hardware store . on the pipe tap it tell you what size of drill bit to use . the material in the hole is aluminum and it drills out E-Z. I have also tried to use a small chisle to break out the broken peice out you can do it but you will learn alot of new bad words. The biggest problem is sometimes because of space restriction you have to use a angle drill and a shortend brill bit to even get in the space to drill.Well so far I hav'nt gave you an E-Z way to fix this SORRY. This one is not a very easy one . I hope this helped

SOURCE: intake manifold leaking coolant at expansion tube nipple

It is pressed in. I usually just take the nipple out and run a threader into the hole and place a piece of threaded copper pipe into the newly tapped hole. The factory uses a thin steel tube and they rust out if the cooling system is not properly maintained.

Why would a repair shop, tell you after
looking at your vehicle, that the intake
needs to come off. You don't believe
them? You didn't see the issue as they explained
it to you?

There is no quick or cheap in this
world, for anything done correctly

Coolant nipple manifold cracket!!!!

Most likely it is a separate piece. It could be threaded on or simply a press fit. Unfortunately, that particular piece is hard to find as most auto stores won't keep it. It can also be difficult to change out if it is press fit and may cause more damage if done incorrectly.

Broke the plastic nipple attached to the radiator and coolant resevoir

You can try and repair the nipple with a good plastic repair kit.....but due to the heat, pressure and fluid it might be better to just replace the component.

coolant line for rear heating of the truck find out if they can be connected. u may see a nipple where the hose goes if so replace with a rubber heater hose. if nipple broke get new box from junk yard, buy new hoses and clamps and reconnect. you may need a/c rubber rings for the two ac lines. remember if replacing the box car should be cold your dealing with coolant. and release pressure from the ac lines before servicing

The nipple on the heater core that connact the

Unfortunately the heater core must be replaced because the nipple is soldered to the heater core and access to the core for resoldering is not possible unless the heater core is remove and so if you go to that kind of trouble you should just replace the core with a new one rather than doing the repair and risking a future leak after reinstalling.
