With this TransX, does it come with measurements on how much to put in. I am planning on trying to do this tomorrow if possible.

Do you happen to know another brand name for transX, I cant seem to find anyone here that sells it. Or can you tell me stores to get it from.

    Thanks for the help

sorry but the first post was just a test to make sure the link was working, fixya has been having some problems with there sight, i tried to answer your question yesterday several time but was unable to post an answer to your problem do to the technical problems with the sight.

so hear we go with your problem on the 1995 K1500.

your truck is equipped with a 4L60E or a 4L80E 4 speed automatic transmission, both are electronically controlled transmissions and neither have any adjustments, now with that being said, what is most likely going on is there is a device inside the transmission that is called a governor, what it does is as the output shaft spins up to speed the governor spins with the shaft and as it comes up to speed there is a weight inside the governor that is pushed out do to centrifugal force as it moves outward it opens passages that alloy fluid to move threw different passages in the transmission witch in turn cause the change of gears also there are some electronic switches that also open and close to either allow or turn off fluid flow inside the transmission as well, now with all that said what is most likely going on is the governor is sticking and not allowing the weight to move freely, what needs to be done is the transmission needs to be serviced, this is done by removing the transmission oil pan and replacing the internal oil filter and the refilling the transmission with new ATF and a qt of transX ( this is like miracle juice in a can) it take the transX around 100 miles to start working it magic, if after around a 100 miles the problem has not gone away then you will have to remove the transmission and replace the governor and maybe rebuild the transmission, but don't give up hope yet give the transX a chance we have had great success with it in the past and still use it almost daily in our shop......good luck

please let me know if there is any thing else i can do for you.

I have an isuzu npr it's a 6/91. Wednesday night at idle the truck revs itself up maximum rpms. What would cause this is it something to do with the fuel?

wow, a real photos, how cool, like the 2nd one here ever or 1st.
but in what country? this is USA forum, with zero data on
cars not here.
the problem is what engine is there.
diesel or gas.
and what is the displacement.
we have like 1000 posts here on NPR , an not one answers even 1 question asked, i cant guess why or whats UNDER that hood.

hot engine races
cold or both?
what engine.
what RPM is high, 1000, or 3000 ?
if gas engine, vacuum leaks top that list.
on diesel? , injection problems many.

it has to do with air and fuel controls on all injected engines.
if gas, it can even be, OMG a CARB fueled.

My 2001 GMC Jimmy 4x4 Automatic with 84K miles. It winds when I put it in reverse and I think I only have 1st and 2nd gear. Additionally it revs high, like over 3000 rpm, delays and then eventually...

It winds up in 1st and then shifts right from 1st into 3rd. Then never shifts into 4th. Plus rev is gone. You broke the sun shell. The transmission will need to rebuilt or replaced.

Hard shift from 1st to 2nd, then 2nd to 3rd.

Dont think they changed it yet but the older chrysler units had a rod that went from the throttle linkage to the transmission (maybe a cable now)...If you lengthen the rod it will increase shift pressure and give you an earlier shift.

1998 chevy k1500 4x4 4 speed auto.transmission wont shift out of 2nd gear. shifts fine from 1st to 2nd first and reverse is fine wont shift out of first, shift servos have been replaced.

Had a similar problem with same model pickup but would shift into third only after reaching high RPM in second @5000. There was TSB that came out about this a few years ago. I had to replace the valve body in the transmission to fix the problem and worked perfectly after that. Hope this helps!
