Question about 2002 Hyundai Accent
The sweet smell is the motor burning off the residual coolant on the components that got sprayed with coolant.if the car got overheated enough it may have damaged the head gasket and is now burning oil due to the over heating.or there is a mechanical problem due to the overheating(ring problem, valve problem, etc.)if its burning oil then it can cause an 02 problem as the sensor will get coated with what ever is coming out of the exhaust.the heat sensor is part of the 02 sensor that warms the sensor up so the computer will go into closed loop sooner and help with fuel mileage.
