Have the fuel tank vent system checked. It can become blocked or damaged and fumes are misdirected.

What would cause a gasoline odor when I'm driving? No visible leaks and not overfilling the tank.

Could be anything. Bad gas cap, evaporation canister bad, bad hose, engine running rich etc. No way to give you an accurate diagnosis simply too many possibilities.

What causes a car run forcefully and smell like gasoline

Some older cars have steel fuel lines that rust out. They're very expensive to replace and its dangerous to run the car that's leaking fuel on the underside.

Gasoline is entering and contaminating the engine oil. It can only enter through the leaking injectors.
Inspect, clean or replace the injectors and replace the engine oil immediately.

Car running rough at random when accelerating and also idle drops suddenly when slowing down and often completely stalls out when I stop. Smells strongly of gasoline when it stalls/almost stalls but I

This could be a lot of things. one of the tests that you need to run is shift it into nuetral when you are stopping and see if it still drops RPM and wants to stall. This will eliminate or conclude that it is a transmission issue. If it is still doing this then it could be a vacuum leak or fuel delivery issue.

Gasoline Fume Smell

Automotive dealerships, and most likely auto parts stores, sell a ultraviolet dye that can be added to your fuel system. The dye is visible to the naked eye, but much more pronounced when ultraviolet light hits it. If you wanted to attempt finding the leak yourself, add the dye directly to your fuel tank, and purchase a ultraviolet flashlight at an auto parts store. Some auto parts stores may possibly carry this light in their "loaner tools" so you may be able to rent one at essentially no cost to you. Follow your fuel lines and evap system with the light until you find the source of your leak. Or if you are more comfortable having a repair shop find the leak, mention the dye to them. Its entirely possible they may not know such a dye exists.

How do i clean throttle plates on 2004 gmc envoy?

Throttle body has nothing to do with the gasoline, it only regulates incoming air. In order to find the gas leak you will need to remove the air resonator assembly that goes from the air filter to the throttle body. Then you can get a look at the fuel rail and injector hook-ups.

If I were you ,I would remove the plentum and make sure the injectors are not leaking onto the intake manifold and creating a pocket of fuel, witch could cause a engine fire while driving.

Gas odor when at stops sign or parking in garage

I recently had the same problem. It turned out that the fuel regulator on the engine at the left side just above the intake manifold had an intermitent leak. The gas leaking was not always visible so I had the regulator changed and that solved the problem.
