Did you change the right coolant sensor as some have a sensor for a light(gauge) and a different one for the computer(ecm)the one for the ecm is a 2 wire sensor.the only thing left is either wiring for the cooling fan or the ecm has an internal problem and not recieving a required signal or not sending out the signal.

not clear on a cooling module...there are relays which operate the cooling fans is this what you mean? there is atemp sensor that has wires connected to it mounted in the block that will tell the fans to come on to cool the car..if this sensor is bad the system will not function properly hence with the fans if they dont come on the car wont cool down either..need each one checked and replace whats broken..good luck..

My 2000 Saturn SL2, has been overheating, the blower motor seems to work great but there is no cold air, and now it wants to act like the fuel pump may be going out or something because I have to floor it...

Look at the Cooling Fan behind the radiator while the is AC on. If it is not spinning, check the Cooling Fan relay in the relay box under the hood by switching it with the Rear Defog relay, they are the same P/N. If it still does not spin, check that you are getting voltage at the Fan Power Connector. I was able to change the brushes in my fan motor and it works fine now, new fan is $120 at AutoZone. If the cooling fan is working and you are not getting high volume air flow thru the AC vents, check your cabin air filter. Mine was clogged and now it will blow the hair off of your chin.
The fuel issue could be caused by a faulty Mass Airflow Sensor. This will often cause an error code stating that a thermal wire is missing from an o2 sensor and/or a lean condition has been detected and the ECM could not compensate. The MAFS will cost around $100-$130 and can be done in your driveway in under 10 minutes.
If you are relying on a code reader to diagnose, be advised that the code readings are only suggestions for POSSIBLE issues. You will rarely ever get a detailed diagnosis, which leads many people to replace good parts until something works. If you are getting proper fuel pressure to the fuel rail I strongly recommend changing the MAF sensor before anything else. o2 sensors often outlive the vehicle, MAF's do not.

In my saturn the fan does not turn and the car runs hot

You can have a couple things going on. One being a bad temperature sensor. Dont be to surprised many cars have 2 and for one of them its only function is to tell the fan when to turn on. The other is a bad fan motor. Jumper a wire from the battery to the connector and see if it turns on. If it doesn't then you need a new motor.

My cooling fan is not working. The fuse relay is working. How do I check to see if the sensor going to the engine is faulty?

good question, turn your defroster on, and see if the fan comes on then, if it doesn't then you may have a bad fan motor, radiator fans come on automaticly when the air conditioning compressor is engaged, this it to provide good subcooling for the pump, so if it doesnt come on with the a/c turned on and its not the relay, then its the motor, because the sensor was bypassed

Fan motor is good checked it with a jumper wire to positve my guess is the sensor where is it located

If it is a cooling fan motor, then it can be a cooling fan relay,or fuse, that is bad,or the coolant sensor is bad.Make sure the cooling system is bled of all air.If it has air in the system, the coolant sensor will not work.

Radiator fan will not run but motor is good

follow the wires coming off the fan they will lead you to the relay from that the relay will run to the temp sensor which trips the relay for the fan
