P0452 Evap.Emission System-Pressure Sensor Low Input
The evaporative emission control system prevents hydrocarbon vapors from escaping from the fuel tank into the atmosphere where they could form photochemical smog. Gasoline vapors are collected in the charcoal canister. The Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (FTPS) is an integral part of the evaporative monitoring system. The PCM monitors the FTPS signal to detect vacuum decay and excess vacuum. The FTPS measures the difference between the air pressure inside the fuel tank and outside air pressure to check the purge control solenoid valve operation and for leak detection in the evaporative emission control system by monitoring pressure and vacuum levels in the fuel tank during the purge control solenoid valve operating cycles.

P0452 indicates a low voltage signal from the fuel tank pressure sensor, which converts fuel tank pressure into a voltage signal sent to the ECM.
Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor Low Input indicates a low voltage problem in the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (FTPS). What the fuel FTP sensor does is convert fuel tank absolute pressure into electrical signals and inputs the signal to the ECM/PCM, (Computer). First thing to do is make sure the gas cap is good and tightened properly. Given the gas cap's age, you may just want to replace it as the seal may be dry and leaking which would give you a low pressure signal. Then check the vacuum lines and wiring at the FTPS (Location-Fuel Tank) to be sure they are good, clean and tight. Barring a wiring problem it can be a bad FTPS.
Regarding the noise from clutch, it seems to be a bearing issue or the clutch plate/pad might have worn.
Hope i helped.

EVAP fuel tank pressure sensor low output. It sounds like the charcoal -filled canister, it's near the gas tank in a cylinder shape. The canister may have cracks or a hose is leaking around the area and it will give a fault code of PO452. Are you smelling any odors or emission smell from the car?

well it makes it alot easier if you block the wheels and remove the rear drive shaft first. watch your fingers at the pinch points ( U-JOINTS ) and i had to drop my yukon xl tank for a pump replace , you need to put a piece of wood ( large enough to cover your floor jack platform and to balance tank. It would be best to wait till tank is almost empty. Then you can handle it by hand,as tank is only like 15 pounds with a little fuel) and lower to floor.

Testimonial: "Good info; from what was said I gather the tank needs to go to the ground to access the press sensor"
