My oil gauge isnt working at all

Check if the sender is working. What type of gauge is in the truck? If it is an electronic type like the gas gauge, you can use an assistant and ground the sender lead with a resistor (100 ohm 1/2 w) and see if the gauge moves. If it does, then the sender is bad. If it does not, then the gauge or wiring could be at fault.

Most cases it is just the sender.

Thanks, Jim

Gas gage don't work1990 ford rainger

usually the sender units wire is loose or the send is faulty
you can check the sender by removing it or you can check the guage from the sender end by varying the voltage
i just use torch batteries 1 the 2 then 3 in series just like inside the torch!
If guage shows different levels 1/4 or 1/2 etc.then its the ender unit thats faulty

Just quit running while driving will still turn still over, getting fuel thought filter, i dont think im getting fire. 1990 2.2L ford probe

i had the same thing happen to me after it turned 200,000 miles.

All you have is a bad electric connecter to the fuel rail it's located over by the battery and that should help your problem.
i hope this helps and good luck.

i'm on here looking beacuse mine is hard to get started.

duck tape on the air intake. I just fixed mine. There is a crack on the intake that lets too much air in when you put it in drive that makes the car stall. Try it it works.

Switch ig. on, ground the sender unit wire for about 3 seconds see if the temp. gauge moves, if so change sender unit, if not then it is a faulty gauge reader.
