Do the vehicle attempt to start, but shuts off after a second or two, or will it not turn over at all? If the vehicle starts then shuts off, it is an immobilizer concern, if the vehicle won't even attempt to start, then you have another issue.

Car cranks but will not start

first thing take the 120 amp fuse out and throw it away
the 100 amp fuse was installed originally to protect the wiring and other related parts
next by connecting to the wrong terminals there is a power surge that can damage the electronics in the ECM unit and alternator
removing a battery for a charge can corrupt the immobiliser system
I would suggest that you use a scanner to read any fault codes that may be stopping the engine and then reset the CPU program in the ECM to reset the immobiliser

Battery went flat after light left on charged battery engine turns fine but wont fire up immobilizer light has not come back on I think immobiliser is stopping fuel supply ???

Does the light come on briefly, then go out when turning key to on? It should do that. Something is wrong with the pump if you turn key to on and the pump doesn't turn on for 2 seconds. It should turn on to put pressure in the line and to the injectors.

I have a ford mondeo lx battery died so fully charged it and now car will not start at all it saying on the raidio vehicle id how do I get this id thanks

Try using a scanner to reset the ECM for the engine start problem ( immobiliser program corrupted). it may reset the radio but I suspect that you will need a radio code to get it to work.

So I have a 99 ford ranger 6 cylinder I believe it's a 3 liter flex fuel Anyways the other day when I was driving to work I got up to about 30 and it wouldn't accelerate anymore I took my foot off the gas...

The battery light would have come on as soon as the engine stopped turning. The light means the alternator is not charging the battery.
You'll need to check fuel pressure and other factors to proceed.

Car died but now starts

Try cleaning the battery cables where they contact the battery. If that doesn't do the trick, most auto parts stores wil ltest your battery for free. Do both first before lookng into the charging system. Alternatively, Place an external battery charger on the battery and charge it up. If that fixes it  then test the charging system.

Audi a4 1.8 avant 1997

my 97 a4 would start and then die, i had it diagnosed as the immobiliser in the dashboard costing about £600 !!! The battery went flat trying to start it so i took it off the car and charged it up, when i put it back on the car before i took it to get fixed i thought i would try it 1 more time and "hey presto" it started and ran and has not missed a beat since ! That was 2 years ago, it was like the computer had re-set itself with the battery removed for charging, i hope this may be of some help.
