Is the pump faulty?

abs units only maintain the brake line pressure as set by the brake pedal position and application pressure during wheel lock up prevention
If it activated on it's own accord both rear brakes would have come on if not all 4 wheels
the default action in the event of abs failure is to loose the abs action during wheel lock up and not to lock brakes
Run the fault codes to check for ABS circuit/ sensor problem
discuss the problem with an accredited brake specialist shop as I suspect a problem that is not really connected to the ABS system

How do I change the alternator on my 87 bounder

Are you sure it is bad? Take it to a place like NAPA which sells batteries and get them to but the tester on it to be sure. When you have done this, answer and I will walk you through the process of changing the alternator or you might check what NAPA would charge you for the work.

What is a valve induction damper?

I found this on another site where the same issue was discussed. Modern diesel engines have what is known as a stop damper butterfly valve (sometime referred to as the throttle body) in the inlet. This cuts off the air supply during engine shut down to prevent engine run-on. If faulty it can restrict air-flow when the engine is running so it may be worth checking that aspect. the code df226 is the same on renault engines also.

  • TCM battery direct (B+) circuit is open or disconnected
  • TCM power ground circuit is open
  • PCM/TCM was disconnected or it has been replaced
bar room answer.
your battery was dead, or removed, or is was bad.
battery is old and cold starts, allowed it to drop battery voltage way too low, (weak battery, or just too cold out, is this in Klondike?)
left head lights on, and battery drained too low and this code sets.
gal at bar says, what should i do?
answer. sell the car. (nah)
reset the code with an $9 scan tool and drive, see if it comes back.
if comes back and battery seems week. bingo, end of life battery.

How do you bleed breaks for a 99 isuzu rodeo v6 ls

You'll need a helper to push on the brake pedal. Starting at the passenger rear open the bleeder screw and have your helper push down slowly on the brake pedal. Close the bleeder and have the helper let up on the brake pedal. Repeat this process until either there is no more air coming out of the bleeder or the fluid looks clean. Continue this same process at the drivers rear, then the passenger front, and finally ending with the drivers front. It is important not to let the brake pedal travel all the way to the floor during this process. Let it go to the floor can ruin the master cylinder. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using!

most of front end and engine cross over support--if hole is small enough clean and make a plug with pop rivet and cold weld epoxy(oil & gas proof) or if bigger use rubber oil plug replacement a plug about 1/2 inch wide used as replacement when oil drain plug damaged or cross threaded most auto stores sell them
