If its timing belt, remove distributor cap and watch rotor button see if it turns when u crank car.if not its belt. but listen for fuel pump at fuel tank with key in on position , listen for buzz, if no buzz check fuel pressure (need fuel pressure tester gauge). may be fuel pump, they do go without warning.
