I lost my keys and i bought a new set of locks, now i changed the door locks but i am not able to get the ignition lock out, any suggestions?

You have to turn the key cylinder to the on position in order to remove it. You have a few options, you can call the dealer and have key cut by the vin, you could call a locksmith and have him cut a key to match the cylinder, or you can drill the original cylinder and tumblers out. If you choose to drill it out, you will still need to turn the mechanism inside to the o position before you can insert the new cylinder.

2010 Malibu key wont go into ignition switch

The tumblers may have collapsed. In which case you would have to replace the switch. They can be replaced if you can get the key in.. If you get a replacement you can try forcing it, if it locks up you will have to drill it out to get it replaced.

Key wont turn ignition. ignition tumbler is broke, car is stuck in park in the middle of the street.

You really need a locksmith to sort this out.It is tricky to remove the lock unless you know exactly where to drill.

The battery went dead the other day, now the ignition key will not turn, tried wiggling it, is it easier to drill the cylinder or cut off the black ring

Battery had nothing to do with tumbler dying. The best thing you can do is get 2 pins that fit in the holes on the tumbler and get the key to turn 1 more time so you can just pull the tumber out and repplace.

How to change lock cylinder on 91' Ford F250

You can grab the switch with pliers sometimes and break the tumblers of in the cylinder, if you can't get it to break, you can also drill it out. This is what we had to do on an 89 F-150 that the cylinder had worn out and broken on. You should be able to find some how-to's about drilling the cylinder online, maybe even some videos.

Can not turn key to start truck 2000 ford f150

Spray some lubricant such as wd40 in the ignition tumbler. Let it sit awhile. Move the key in and out of the cylinder to loosen the detents. If that does not work you wil have to drill out the tumbler.

Key wont turn

The tumblers inside your lock cylinderwear from use, leaving tiny shavings that eventually jam up the cylinder preventing the key from turning.

You can dry spraying your key with graphite lube and gently working back and forth to get the key to turn.
If you are unsuccessful you willl need to take it to a locksmith to have the cylinder picked free.
Once it is able to be turned, the cylinder needs to be removed, disassembled, and thoroughly cleaned to prevent it from happening again. This should only be done by a trained professional, as it requires drilling small, precise holes in the cylinder to disassemble (theft prevention measures)
