First make sure all bolts are out, You may need a screwdriver and a hammer to remove. Careful and don't bend the outer plate for this will cause leakage. When replace and ready to go back togather use high temp syclone around both the pan and the block to assure seal. but back to your problem they are sealed up tight sometimes and have to use a little force. Also be aware you may have to jack up the motor just a bit to remove pan when you get it brook lose. Best of luck to you.

IT HAS BOLTS THAT GO IN FROM SIDES INTO MAIN CAPS . LOOK JUST BELOW PAN RAIL YOU SHOULD SEE BOLT HEADS . THERE IS 3 OR 4 ON EACH SIDE. BACK ONES ARE A PAIN TO GET AT.

take the bolt out of the motor mount and jack the engine up a little you can just remove the long bolt on the bottom of the mount you do not need to remove the mounting bolts to the engine.

Pontiac montana oil pan bolt diagram for removal

If all the bolts are off, then the gasket is holding the oil pan in place and your going to have to tap it with a mallet, Not a hammer but a mallet so you don not damage the oil pan. Good luck and hope this helps.
