It appears to be a fuel pump probllem. Check the shut off switch, in most Ford cars it is located in the trunk behind one of the side panels. Next check the fuses under the dash panel and on the firewall under the hood. if that fails, check the fuel pressure, it sould be over 70psi. most auto parts stores will loan you one.if the pressure is low you need a new pump. (the fuel pressure gauge attaches to a stem that looks like a tire valve on the intake fuel line just over the engine

Got no fuel from filter to inj pump

you must have a bad fuel pump. if filter is changed and no fuel coming a bad fuel pump or partially or completely block fuel line is more than likely the problem.

How can I fix a no start issue? cranks but won't start

Uh oh, you may have had to bleed the air out of the fuel system after the filter change. You may damage the fuel pump ($$$$$) by cranking the engine with no fuel to lube the very high pressure fuel pump. It started a few times because there was still fuel in the pump. Now it's dry.

Car not starting

The below will only be relevant if the engine ran properly before you changed the fuel line, so making an assumption on that. Not sure what you mean by "won't start fully". After replacing a fuel line, it could take a while for all the air to be purged from the fuel line. If this means the engine will fire, but stumbles and misses, and you are sure you have purged all the air from the fuel line, then you may have introduced contamination into the fuel system when you changed the fuel lines. If there is a fuel filter downstream of where you replaced the fuel lines, try replacing the fuel filter. If there is no filter downstream of the replaced fuel line, then the fuel injector could have caught the contamination. That scenario will be very time consuming to fix...R&R fuel injectors.

93 chrysler t&c awd changed fuel pump and filter, van ran fine again for about 2 months now won't start and don't hear the fuel pump. changed the oil pressure sending unit and still won

fuel pick-up in tank is blocked it has a sock over the end as a gross filter to keep out any big junk from getting sucked into the pump and causing damage to it. the sock can get so plugged up that no fuel will flow, causing the pump to run for a short time then with no fuel flow to cool it it trips the safety and shuts off

Changed fuel filters in 6.0L ford diesel. now it wont start.

the filters need to be pumped with fuel, should show you hoe in the owners manual; empty filters cause the same effect as running out of diesel.

When should 2005 Pontiac Sunfire air filters & fuel filters be changed?

the air filter should be changed when visibly dirty, and I recommend fuel filter replacement every 30000 miles depending on if your car even has one. starting in 2005 gm deleted alot of its fuel filters

Car wont start just changed the fuel filter no fuel was being pumped through is the fuel pump the problem

Very possibly the fuel pump.Just check that there are no air locks in the system first. If you pull the feed line off before the filter and crank the engine if still no fuel then check the fel pump fuse first,if ok test the pump
