I would first check for any fuel leaks, if eveything checks out ok, then i would replace the spark plugs [ and the wires if needed ] . and check the air cleaner filter , to see if it needs to be replaced, dirty air filters will decrease fuel mileage.

I don't have a specific answer but I do know that there is a problem and if your check engine light (MIL) is on even more reason to have your car checked.

My 2003 accord is waisting oil and is not burning oil or liking it I don't no what to do I change the PVC valve what could I do

Has to go somewhere
I would disagree & say it is going out the exhaust
Rings or Valve Seals !!!
Have your exhaust reading taken & see what gases
you get.

Cold start missing 05 equinox

I have a 2005 Equinox. Every time I start it I have to hold the gas pedal to the floor and start it. I hear water in the dash that recently started. I'm tired of waisting my time to get it fixed and the problem is never corrected. What do I do? What is the problem? Why has this not been recalled?

You should probably go back and make sure you snapped all the electrical connectors to the ignition coils. Also check that any vacuum lines didn't get left disconnected during your tuneup.

Why is my chrysler new yorker waisting alot of gas and throwing black smoke from muffler

Iam sure you have a check engine or service engine soon light on, if so do computer diag, but with my experience it could be three thing's, check your MAP sensor and make sure it has vacum going to it, if it don't will make your car run rich to much gas not enough air, also check you CTS (coolant temp. sensor) if not reading right computer will think it's cold and will dump gas, again running rich, and last have your catilitic convertor check to make sure it's not clog, again to much gas not enough air.

My trailblazer (2002) was making allot of noise as i gave it gas.

should have the coolant temp sensor replace from the sound of it. if bad it will think it is cold and dump more gas to keep it running. it also runs the fans

My car worn't start, it's not cranking. It was running fine but low on gas when I parked it for the night and the next day it wouldn't start. It was very low on gas that night, so we tried putting gas in...

I SUGGEST YOU CHECK THE FUEL PRESSURE, SOUNDS LIKE YOUR FUEL PUMP HAS FAILED OR THE GAS GAUGE IS INCORRECT AND YOU ARE OUT OF GAS, LET ME EXPLAIN ABOUT THE GAS TANK MOUNTER ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP YOUR CAR AND ALL MODERN CARS AND TRUCKS USE, THEY ARE COOLED BY THE FUEL THEY PUMP IN, IF U RUN THE TANK ;LOW ALLOT IT SHORTENS THE LIFE OF THE PUMP BY ALLOT, SO IF YOU REGULARLY RUN BELOW 1/4 TANK OF GAS YOU MOST LIKELY WILL NEED TO PULL THE FUEL TANKS AND REPLACE THE FUEL PUMP MODULE, ALSO REPACE THE FUEL FILTER WHILE U ARE AT IT. THE TYPICAL LIFE SPAN OF THIS PUMP UNDER THE BEST CONDITIONS IS 100,000-125,000 MILES

Stupidity

Here is the sad news, if you ran the truck out of gas chances are you destroyed the electric fuel pump in the tank, why? the fuel pump is very small, it is able to do it's job only because it is cooled by the gas it is submersed in, if you run out of gas or run very low allot it ruins the bearings in the pump and it freezes up, u will need to drop the gas tank and install a new fuel pump, I see this ALLOT!

How many cylinders is a malibu classic? The car is waisting a lot of gas for the cylinders that i think it is.

Count all the plug wires. this will tell you how many cylinders you have. For better gas mileage make sure you check the air in all the tires, change the oil, air and fuel filters. Give it a good tune up and keep your foot out of it. drive easy start and easy stop. this will help your gas mileage.
