Question about 2002 Buick Park Avenue
Either the switch or the regulator has failed. the driver's door goes first as it gets the most use. the motor is generally the culprit. you can get a new window regulator on eBay or at a parts store, get the whole regulator not just a new lift motor. take it to an auto glass shop and they can install it for you. believe me if you ever tried to replace one you would gladly pay someone who knows what they are doing 50 bucks to do it the next time. there are special tools and fasteners needed.
