99 ranger 3.0 am i suppose to have pressure at the bleed off valve in front of the fpr with truck not running i have constant pressure is fpr bad?

You should ALWAYS have pressure at the FPR. If pressure drops when the truck isn't running, the FPR has failed.

I have a bmw e30 325i and am trying to sort out the erratic idling out, have replaced the idle control valve but it still doesnt idle smoothly. on the air box is an adjustment screw with a hex head, which...

Erratic idle sounds like a vacuum leak, for which a smoke test is suggested (or visual inspection). You may find a hose end is cracked and leaking. Rich running, on the other hand, may be a faulty fuel pressure regulator or bad vacuum hose connection to it, 02 sensor could be faulty.
One cause of FPR failure is the internal diaphragm develops a hole. If, when you remove the vacuum line, there is any gas in it, that's a sign the FPR is gone. Easy to check, so I'd got there first. Also replace the spark plugs if you haven't done so lately. Don't turn that mixture adjustment. I Hope this helps.

I have a 87 ford mustang 2.3 . The air conditioner will stop blowing from normal vents and blow from defroster vent. After a few minutes, it blows from the ac vents again.

There is a vacume hose going from the intake manifold to the passenger compartment. This hose has a check valve and a vacume resivore. When you steap on the gas the manifold vacume drops and the a/c goes to the default mode (defrost). The hose is small like a ball point pen's ink tube. sometimes the hose rots and leaks.

Inspect your (FPR) fuel pressure regulator, a leaking FPR will cause the issues your having from it leaking fuel in your your upper intake. At worst, you may have a broken intake valve or exhaust valve.

Vacum leak ? air comes from vents when driving when not turned on

sounds like your blend door is loosing vacum check for melted or disconnected vacum hoses (most are plastic) the blend door is controled by one black and one black w/green stripe. As for the e break check for connection or cracked or worn hose end

find the fuel pressure regulator ,pull vacume hose off,and see if gas is present or if it has a fuel smell. It is not supposed to leak fuel into the vacume

Common problem with Dodge Rams. Nobody has the right parts (dealer only) the right part numbers, or the right diagrams or component lists or locations.
The 5.9 L most likely has no EGR valve, as mine does not. It does however have an Idle Air Control Valve located at the back bottom of the throttle body, which if removed, will show carbon buildup, preventing proper fuel/air mix.
You also may have a vacum leak at one or more vacum hoses on the intake manifold, a leak at the vacum ball that stores vacum for working the vent controls when the engine is off. It looks like a big black ball, and has a vacum line going from the top of the intake to the ball, maybe located behind the RH pass headlight. The rubber hoses dry oput, crack, and rot after a few years due to OZONE exposure from the air. Go ot and buy 6 or 8 feet od 3/32 rubber vacum hose, and replace everything that is suspect. Look for cracked Ts. Dont forget to check the larger vacum hoses that go to the charcoal canister and fuel tank vent valves. The rubber elbows have a tendency to pop off the charcoal canister connectors on a hot day if you overfill the gas tank, and the rubber elbows are old and stretched out.
