Try unplugging the wiper motor and plug in a couple quick times, the actuator might be stuck.

Not the TS switch. It is the hazard switch. The hazard switch is what controls the flashing and power..Check that fuse first.

2003 Silverado, changed wiper control module, NOW.. Wipers only come on when turned to HIGH, work only on high/low, will not shut off until key is turned off & back on, then wipers park and turn off. ...

Sounds like what's called a park switch. If you can get one it is not that hard to change. It is inside the wiper motor you may want to change the whole motor if you can find one in a salvage yard.

Can you say recall notice? Chevy knows about this problem and has extended the warranty through 2016 or 150,000 miles. Just had my 2006 Silverado fixed at dealership @ no cost to me. It takes the shop approximately 45 minutes to correct.

Windshield wipers will not shut off

Hello, my name is Ben. This is a very common problem for GM. You have a wiper motor control module and it is most likely defective. The module is bolted directly onto the wiper motor which is mounted to the firewall under that long plastic cowl just in front of the bottom edge of your windshield.

The wipers have a control module in the wiper motor. That is what is wrong. On that model you will have to replace the wiper motor . Good Luck

I had the same problem. It was the wiper computer module according to the dealership. Fortunately it was covered under extended warranty and cost $100 deductible.
