It could be that you have a bad battery, I would recommend that you go and get it tested at a parts place like Advance or AutoZone or the dealership. It could also be that you have a weak alternator, I would recommend getting that checked as well. But, it could also be that there is something staying on (called a parasitic draw) when you turn your car off. I would make sure that all accessory devices (GPS, radar detectors, phone chargers) are removed when the car is turned off. Ultimately though it will take someone physically testing the starting/charging system to really find the problem.

Intermittent problem starting 2002 volvo s60.

the symtoms you describe sounds like a battery fault. but if you have had the battery properley tested and is good then you either have something discharging the battery intermittantly ie. trunk light staying on or a high resistance in the main battery leads or earth connections

Hi ihave a fiat brava 1.2 x reg in the morning the car will not start it turns over rather lazy and only 2 or 3 turns and the digital clock trip meter reset to zero.it has new battery earth wires ok...

It seems the battery loses power over night.
There seems to be some electrical componant chewing up the battery.
Try to remove one of the battery terminal wire at night and thn fix it in the morning and thn see if it will start without jumping, if it does thn the battery is being chewed up overnight.
If after removing the battery terminal at night and refitting it in the morning and it still requires jump start ,thn the battery is faulty.
Hope this helps!

Brand new battery, won't start, will with jump.

It sounds like your alternator is not charging your battery properly. I would have that tested.

91 Cressida won't start

Lead acid batteries can "die" catastrophically. This is actually not all that uncommon. If the battery is new, it should be under warranty. I would take it back, and have them test it. It it fails, which I believe it will, then there is the problem. If it passes, then your alternator is probably bad. The chances of it being your alternator are slim as you did jump the car off, and drive it for a while. If the battery is too weak to start the car, it will not maintain vehicle operation very long without help from the alternator.
