Most likely blower motor resistor or blower switch is bad.

Why is my heater blower motor not running?

If you got the motor to run, then whatever feeds that motor electricity is the culprit. Check the switch.

2000 jeep grand Cherokee limited only blows cold air despite c.c setting position. Also what I'm Guessing to be the blower control module hot lead burned through end of wire/ wiring harness/ and circuit...

lead burned through
that's easy
using the wrong fuse size
and the feed is shorted,
the correct fuse prevents the burned wires.

here are the HVAC pages
http://www.jeep4x4center.com/knowledge-base/index.htm?utm_source=cj#service

lots of things can short. in cars. (topic Hvac)
  • the wires.
  • the connectors
  • the HVAC motors (actuators)
  • the blower.

if you had stated the exact wire color and what it connect to exacty
we can state who shorted.

Fuse 1 , 40amp runs the blower. dark green.
Fuse 20 , 10amps runs others.
Fuse 7 runs zone control,,,10A and all 4 damper motors actuators.
see 8w-42-6 pages.

ok you have your FSM and now can find who connects to what.

1997 buick lesabre limited, blower motor works sometimes.

More than likely a bad speed control. These are usually mounted inside the car near the bottom of the AC box. Another possibility is a bad connector under the hood. The offending connector is usually located on the right side of the car near the blower motor area. Look for a connector that has one large red or orange wire and two smaller wires. I have found these connectors burnt up on many occassions.

1996 buick riviera heater blower won't run. I jumped the motor and it runs. Turn on the switch and it won't run

you have a piece of solder broken off the controller of your hvac unit, causing power not to get to the blower motor it self. take test light and see if you have power at the blower motor. check and see if you have continuty or brake between the power wire at the blower motor and at the hvac control unit. if wires are good then the problem will lie in the hvac control unit. check and see if the blower is working at all speeds, if it works on some speeds thens the blower motor resistor.

Where is the heater motor at in a 1992 buick roadmaster

The blower motor is responsible for driving the fan that blows air across the heater core. Advice: If the blower motor is not working, first you must determine if the blower motor is at fault or if the problem lies in the speed control circuit and/or wiring. One of the quickest ways (depending on accessibility) to test a blower motor, is to hot wire it. If you disconnect the wiring harness and apply battery voltage to the blower motor terminals and it does not spin, then you know that the motor is bad. If it spins, you know the problem is somewhere else in the system. Most blower motors will have two wires or terminals, a positive and a ground. Check the repair guide's wiring diagrams to determine which is which. If you do get it backwards, don't worry. Reverse polarity will only cause the motor to run backwards. For testing purposes, if the motor spins in either direction, the problem lies elsewhere. The one wire design gets it's ground through the blower motor mounting, so the single wire or terminal is your positive connection.

My heat doesnt blow hot air or no air at all and my left turn signal blins very slow and my wipers work but when turned off they keep going until car is off and door is opened please help i have kids and...

HAVE BATTERY VOLTAGE CHECKED.MAKE SURE BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED IT SHOULD BE 12.5 VOLTS.IF YOU HAVE DIM TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS.EITHER YOU HAVE WRONG BULBS OR POOR GROUND ALSO THE WEAK BATTERY OR UNDERCHARGING PROBLEMS HAVE ALTERNATOR CHECK OUT. FOR THE BLOWER MOTOR.CHECK FUSE AND RELAY. IF BOTH GOOD YOU HAVE A FAULTY AC + HEATER CONTROL SWITCH.OR THE BLOWER MOTOR IS FAULTY.REMOVE BLOWER MOTOR HOT WIRE IT USING A JUMPER WIRE TO BATTERY.IF IT RUN YOU HAVE SWITCH OR WIRES TO SWITCH PROBLEMS. IF BLOWER MOTOR DONT RUN.REPLACE IT AND BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR.NOW IF WIPERS KEEP WORKING WHEN YOU TURN THEM OFF.YOU HAVE A FAULTY SWITCH OR DEFECTIVE LIMIT SWITCH IN THE MOTOR.
