Why won't my 2004 Jetta vw 2.0 start up after I

Jump starting a cpu controlled vehicle by the incorrect use of the cables will damage the cpu unit by the surge of current that is delivered to it. Have the cpu check out. It is not a matter of positive to positive and negative to negative as it was with older cars.

No start

first things first,
deactivate the imobiliser and try and start it,
if it still wont budge try it manually, by shorting
