The fuse is under the dash on the drivers side below the park brake release, pop off access door to expose fuses. pull the labeled fuse, if no label consult owners manual for diagram. check all fuses while you are in there.

2003 ranger (no power to diaignostic port under dash)

Did you check the fuse? If not the fuse you are looking for is in the passenger compartment fuse panel (see picture of location below). The fuse you are looking for will be in the number 17 position and should be a 20 amp fuse (see picture of layout below). This fuse is also for the cig lighter so they blow often, I hope this is the problem and hope I was able to help. Good luck.

What fuse is the cig lighter on a 91 Ford ranger

Should be the accessory fuse. The element in the litter is usually the problem. Only last so long before burning out.

Radio and cigarette lighter won't work 1996 Ford Ranger

Read your manual .It tells you were the fuses are.. If you use a test light, the terminal at the bottom of the lighter socket is positive and the barrel is ground.Don,t touch the two,or you will need another fuse. The fuse panel is on the left end of the dash. The cigar is #17 and radio is # 20
