Hi, The left rear speaker is not working (I tried moving fader and balance). I removed the speaker grill, but it looks like the lower interior panel has to be removed. If the paned has to be removed, how do I remove it. I do not have a service manual. Thanks, Scott

SOURCE: stuck rear window

To remove the door panel there will be 2-5 screw bolts in places like the door handle and behind switch and handle panels. Remove them then teh panel will either lift straight up or pop out if it is held with panel plugs then use a flat pry tool to pop them out.

It does sound like the regulator which is cable driven and will by basiclly held on the glass and the door with bolts. You will need to move the old motor to the new part.

SOURCE: how to remove rear door interior door panel

You should obtain a tool made specifically for removing door panels. They are attached by "snap" connectors, and by pulling on the door panel itself will invariably ruin it. Get the tool from a parts place and carefully peer into the slot between the door metal and the door panel. Use the tool slowly with resolution. You should really acquire a manual that guides you for your particular Jag.
Remember, to take the panel completely off, you need to remove the door handle. Look for a plug that has a screw under it. You'll need to pop the door window/lock control panel too, to access screws under there. This can be tricky, so be careful.

All the (rear) speakers in my 2012 jeep grand Cherokee stopped working.the front are on, I checked the fuse to the radio/amp it's fine. (Complete stock set up) if anything has blown..where do I start?

x2 the fader or balance set wrong.
bad amp.
or bad speakers.
try a test speaker in place of just 1 speaker, if its dead too. then its the amp.

the amp has 4 , drivers, (4 amp drivers)
any can fail.
even shorted speaker wires or cut.

Only tweeters are working while playing radio. No other speakers are working. operates normally, turn on , cd, all options work. What could this be? It's a 2006.

all speakers r connected to the same wires on the radio
If left/right balance and front/rear fader work properly
and sound is coming out it is likely (but not definite) radio is ok and speaker wiring is the issue.
HOWEVER, if it sounds the same on both left and right, it could be the radio. It is unlikely both sides have the same issue at the same time without it being in the radio.
The only way to verify it to disconnect the speaker and substitute a known good speaker.
So back to troubleshooting.

The rear speakers do not work in my audi a3 1.8tfsi technik 2010 is this an optional extra

you may need to go through the menu on the radio/stereo & check if the fader is on just the front speakers, then turn it the other way to bring in the rear speakers, just like left & right balance

Thats controlled by the fader, you can adjust front to rear levels.

I just bought a 2010 Scion XB. How do I get the music to come out of the rear speakers and not just the front ones

you need to adjust your fader on the radio. Balance is for left and right. Fader is for front and rear. Sometimes you need to hold a mode button in for a few seconds to select which function you want to adjust.
