if it is 4wd check the vaccum lines for the presence of atf, if so you need new ac vaccum lines, ac actuators, vaccum resivoirs, possibly a control head and a vaccum switch on the transfer case and top off the t case, if no atf found check supply vaccum on the black line on the drivside floor area, you have a supply vaccum problem where the break is you have to find, chek the vaccuum resivoir on the driver fender area

When i hit the brakes car shuts off, already replaced the brake switch

Hi, It sounds like your brake master cylinder survo is leaking causing the vacume from your engine to drop to low. You can pull the vaccum line off the survo and block the line properley then start your car and pump the brakes. DONOT DRIVE CAR with vaccum line off your brakes will be VERRY POOR.

1989 ford f250 a/c only comes out through the defroster

More them likely you have a vaccum leak, check vaccum line that gose into fire wall under hood make sure it has vaccum, if don't find vaccum hose and repair, if it does check vaccum hose under dash follow it make sure it's plug in, if it is could be a bad vaccum pull off or bend door or the selector switch. Good luck hope this was helpful.

NO HEAT ON FLOOR, I INSTALLED A NEW ACTUATOR BUT STILL NO AIR ON FLOOR SETTING , I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY 99 S-10. IS THERE A PROBLEM IN THE SWITCH WHICH CONTROLS THE DIFFERENT AREAS IN WHICH YOU...

The floor usally has a vaccum servo,so check it to see if the servo is moving.Pull the ac/heater control from dash, and remove the vaccum plug.Spray some silicone(silicone spray only)in the vaccum lines(plug)and the receptical for the plug.Do this while it is on,and engine running, this will unstick the vaccum switch if it is stuck. Also before starting this, check for vaccum at this vaccum switch. If there is no vaccum,go under hood and follow the vaccum comming out of firewall, and find a vaccum reservoir,or a vaccum check valve, and check them to see if they are damaged or not connected.I hope this helps,if you need more help let me know.

check 2 things first one is their is a plastic check valve that is inserted into the booster (under your hood) then goes to a vaccum line ,then to the engine, pull it out of the booster and check the valve it should be L - shaped. it might have a hole in it causing a vaccum leak. be carefull pulling it out not to break it just pull straight out. if that is ok put it back in. then your problem is going to be the brake booster the big black round case. sometimes the diaphram inside the booster rips causing a vaccum leak which causes a hard brake pedal and you have to stand on the pedal to stop. then you will have to repace the whole thing but not the master cylnder unbolt master cylder with the brake lines connected, the lines will give then disconnect brake pedal arm under dash inside of trk their should be 2 nuts or 4 buts under dash on inside of firewall near brake pedal then remove booster pulls out from under hood. there is not much to replacing them.
