Question about 1995 Dodge Neon
Ok i just bought a new batter for my 95 neon cuz tha last one was dead and didnt hold a charge well go fiuger my new batter is doing tha same thing i know its not tha alterater cuz i done in already cheacked it so if ne body knows what else it might be plaese email me at email@example.com cuz it really sucks not being able to go ne were when ur cars not running right
I had battery issues with my neon where the battery just died after it sat for 3 days...The problem appears to be resolved after removing the service light attached under the hood, don't know why but the bloody thing doesn't turn off when the hood is closed.. I can see the light at night..

Check the accessory belt tension. The belt should move 1/4 to 1/2 inch when you push on it. The alternator belt is closer to the firewall on a 96 neon. Also for a temporary fix until you figure out the problem get a solar charger that plugs into your cigarette lighter. Other possible causes; bad battery cables or connections. Check all connections are clean and tight (check both ends at the battery and at the starter and ground wire. Caution always remove negative battery first and replace last.
