My Jazz Portable Power unit 300c battery pack doesn't seem to hold a charge even with a green light. Can't pump a tire. It's older and probably needs a battery replacement Any ideas?

SOURCE: I have a bad draw coming from some where drawing

using a test light to check or find draw isn't a good idea infact may show a problem is there that real isn't. Use a amp meter. the most draw that should be on the battery is .025 and some newer cars is .040 and that is after all the moduals and computer shut down which on some (few) of the newer vehicals can be up to an hour. The next step is start pulling fuses till you find which one is causing the draw. The alternater and starter don't always have fuses so the wires have to be disconnected from them. Once you find which fuse look in the manual (don't use the fuse cover) whay all that fuse feeds then start unpluging items one at a time. Quick checks would be dome light, glove box light, trunk light and sunviser light. Remeber NO TEST LIGHTS

SOURCE: I own a 91 Mercury

Has to be a cable connection issue of some sort. Check the other end of the battery cables, either the ground connection to the chassis, or power connection to the under hood fuse box. Could be that one of the battery cables has broken inside the insulation yet the connector looks good. Try using a cheap ohm-meter to see if there is a break in either cable ...keep looking!

Need AC power cord for task force model 202754 tire inflator

This a battery jump pack that is used to jump start a car. Some units have an ac adapter built in so you can charge the battery in the jump start pack. My unit has a spot to connect the ac adapter to the jump pack so you can charge the battery in the jump pack. My ac adapter has been lost. I know I have to buy a new ac adapter so I can charge my jump pack, what I do not know is if the input (from the ac adapter) is 120v 60 hz
I understand that the DC output needs to dc12v. I do not understand the milliamps. The battery in the jump box is 12v 10 ah ( what ever that is). I just want a new ac adapter to charge the jump pack with that is not going to damage anything.

1987 Nissan pulsar It stopped on me while driving I change the fuel pump & fuel filter it started one time drove around the block came back turn the car off then tried to start it but got nothing

is there spark at plugs , check the coil packs as these older cars are prone to coil pack failure and at random times , if coil pack ok is the battery holding enough charge to firstly start engine and then alternator charging enough to keep it running , hope this gives you a starting place

My 300c won't start what can it be??

Seems like you have battery power. You can try turning on your headlights and seeing if they are bright. If not, it's the battery. If they are bright, the problem might be the starter motor needs replacing or the neutral switch. Either way, you probably need a mechanic

My 2006 Tribeca keeps draining the battery. I've been through 3 batteries already. If I don't drive it for 2 or more days the battery is drained and either doesn't turn over or after several...

or any of several reasons:

  • You accidentally left the lights on or some other accessory that pulls power from the battery even when the ignition key is off.
  • The battery is not being recharged while the vehicle is being driven (you have a charging problem)
  • There is a key off parasitic electrical drain on the battery because a relay is sticking, a module is not shutting down, or there is a shorted diode in the alternator.
  • Your battery is old and will not hold a charge anymore. The battery needs to be replaced.

Pulled battery terminal on Chrysler 300c 2006. After reconecting , the power windows no longer go up automatically

If your vehicle is equipped with the "Express-Up" feature, the door module probably lost its calibration when the battery was disconnected. To recalibrate this feature, roll the windows all the way down. Then hold the button to the up position. Continue to hold the button up for two seconds after the window has reached the full up position. Roll the window down again and repeat this a second time. The express-up feature should now work for that window. Repeat this procedure for the other front window.
NOTE: the REAR windows are NOT EQUIPPED with this feature.

Can't find the battery, car won't start, headlights work , however the stereo will not work

Thanks for choosing FixYa. Your battery is located inside the fender wall of your left front tire. If your headlights are working, your battery is probably good. You need to check it and make sure it is a holding a good charge. If it is cranking, it may be fuel related. Check the fuel pump, filter, fuel lines, and injectors. If the fuel is getting to the engine, it may be in the ignition system, which is your coil packs, wires. You can also check your timing belt. It may have slipped or may be broke. If it is not cranking, you may need to check the starter solenoid or starter. Check all wires and connections. A common fault on these cars are the fuel pump. You should hear it come on when you first turn the key. You need to check the fuel pressure and check for spark. A car needs air, fuel, and fire to start. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks for using FixYa.

How to turn my bottom fog lights on in mercedes benz 300c

It's an electrical problem(you knew that)STEP1:check for voltage with a DVOM(voltage tester) at the fog light fuse,if current here switch is good, then problem is after fuse(make sure fuse is good). STEP2:check for power at the fog light ground (the fog light ground is bolt and nut that holds the unit up)if you get power at this end, make sure both light bulbs are good they might be a"series system"like x-mas lights if one burns out the other doesn"t work.

Alarm problems

You probably need to replace the battery in the key fob. Even if the fob has a little red light that comes on, the battery could be low enough to not disarm your alarm. That little red light only needs a minimal amount of battery power to light up. Try a Radio Shack store and they will most likely hand you a screwdriver to pry off the back or remove the screw. Once it is open they should have the battery you need. Should be about 6 bucks +/- depending on your location.
