Hi i have a honda hrv 2001 4x4 am losing power when accelerating a need to drop down gears to gain power ?

It sounds like you may have a engine that is losing compression, or there could also be a vacuum leak. Also faulty spark plugs and/or wires can cause a loss of engine power. And the last, but often the easiest to fix, is change the air filter. Check the air filter first.

Kia carnival diesel engine start and run but no acceleration..what a problem cause...

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

To confirm the problem, the basic troubleshooting is required.

Above 2500 rpms, loses power on acceleration

Did you check the plug gap on the new plugs? Did you also replace spark plug wires? The stock ones are ok, but typically replacing them with a decent aftermarket wire (along with the plugs) makes a world of difference.

I changed fuel filters, air filters, and now spark plugs and wires in my 92 Olds. Cutlass Ciera because I wasn't making it up hill, bucking and jumping if I had to accelerate quickly. Now the car has a...

Depending on where you bought the spark plug wires/plugs you could have a defective one even though they are new. I bought plugs/wires from O'Reillly's and it turned out the plug wires were bad even though they were new. Car ran even worse than before I did the work. Napa autoparts sells the best plug wires I have ever used Belden Maxx....Other than that you could have an ignition coil that has gone bad. They should run about $30 each and are not that hard to change out on that vehicle. See if someone can test those for you. Also you may want to pull each spark plug out and make sure that it is gapped properly. You can call any parts place or dealer and ask them what is the spark plug gap for that vehicle. Even if they say they are pre-gapped from the factory it is essential to always check this yourself and make sure that each one is gapped properly. Hope this helps you.

2003 Kia Spectra Loss of power during exceleration

Hi,
The air cleaner mighty be clogged causing insufficient air supply. That is why it runs fine on idle because less air is needed and when the engine demands for more air, there isn't enough.
