I own a 2001 kia sophia and it runs great until going up a hill than it looses power would it be the cataletic converter and how do you check them thanks

i know you would prefer me to give you a definitive answer BUT if you take it to an exhaust centre for a diagnostic, they can tell you there and then cost minimal.if it is the cat they get the work if you cant do it yourself.......(a little story,i know a person who stood outside a well known dealer with a placard stating "they fix things that aint broke"the owner sorted out her car for free...it was a "prestige"make).

My turn signals and 4 ways stay on, they do not blink, on my 1998 kia sephia

The Flasher Relay is defective, replace it. It is located on the driver's side, behind the instrument panel, mounted on upper corner of dash. Purchase a new one so you will know what it looks like. May net be exactly the same but will be very similar.
