Question about Dodge Dakota
This could be anything. Usually when a check engine light comes on it means there is a problem detected by one of the sensors. If the light comes on and goes off it should have stored a problem code in the computer. Take it to your local Autozone and have them scan it and see if there is code showing. If there is no code showing it could be a short in the wiring to the light.
