Check for power at starter and also check for power on ignition wire on starter selonoid while ignition is turned to start position. be cautious as it could engage. do you have power to trk radio, lights etc?? If not then check all batt cables connections to batt and grounds and to starter. also check fuses for a starter relay.

2013 Hyundai Elanta will not start, turn key , new battery, nothing, all lights n dash work, could it be the alarm system OEM

If you have a second key, try that one. Sometimes 1 key will unlock, 1 key will start. If not it would be the anti theft or security system disabling the ignition module. Which is why it won't even try to turn over.

Nothing happens when i turn the key

Hey the 80s celica's had a TSB problem concerning the starting of the cars, so it is a factory wiring problem, I have a 1988 celica and all I did was bypass the ignition with a high amp switch straight to the starter and to + on the battery, hope this helps.

Check battery full charge, battery terminals are clean, cables aren't cracked, broken or corroded and alternator first.

Which your having replaced your starter with new already. If you're still getting nothing it sounds like a bad ignition switch.

They wear normally and need to be replaced. But as a helpful hint don't place excess keys or weighty trinkets on your ignition keys.

They wear on the seating of the key in the ignition and often promote failure in the ignition from bearing the dangling weight.
