How do you replace fuel filter?

If it's a 4x4 the filter is under the driver side door on the frame, if it's a 4x2 then the filter is ahead of the passenger side wheel on the frame. Pull the fuel pump fuse from under the hood and crank it over to relieve some fuel pressure and ensure that the fuel doesn't shoot out all over the place. Then unscrew the band clamp off of the filter. If the fuel lines have the plastic pin type retainers just pull the pins out and pull out the filter. If it has the metal auto-locking spring couplers then you need a 5/16" fuel line disconnect tool. Wiggle the line/filter, push the tool into the coupler all the way and turn and pull the fittings apart. Put the new filter back in with the flat end facing the rear and push the pins back in/push the couplers back on and re-tighten the band clamp. Put the fuse back in the under-hood fuse panel. Turn the key from off to run about 5 times to cycle the fuel pump and prime the lines. Check to see if there is any gas leaking and if there isn't start it up.

I don't know the above answer that I found can do for you or not. Good luck!

Can,t seem to find the fuel filter

the filter is under the car . there should be a plastic clip on one side and a screw in connection on the othe. 5/8 and 3/4 wrenches needed. First off pull the fuel pump fuse and start the car when it dies, keep trying to start it till it wont attempt to run this relieves fuel pressure in the system then change the filter your tank does not need to be empty or full it doesn't matter. Dont forget when u r done to reinstall the fuse. Jack the vehicle up with stand support on the front of the engine. u will see the fuel filter under the vehicle, near the door on the right side. plastic clips are sqeezed and pulled out. remove clamp if exist. put filter on in the right direction. follow arrrow on filter.

Trying to figure out where my relay goes to my fan, i know in the fuse box but don't know which one, need a layout for 2000 mustang gt

I'm guessing you're looking at the panel in the engine compartment because the fuse panel inside the vehicle doesn't have any relays in it. I didn't see and relay for a fan but there was a fuse I believe. This should be in your owners manual if you have one. If you son't and would like a copy, you can email me at csautomotivecars@att.net with your make, model and year and I will be happy to email you a copy. I hope this help and good kuck.

Can,t find fuel pump relay on my 06 tacoma reg cab 2wheel drive

Not sure of the exact location as far as a layout in the fuse box but in my manual it looks like it is in the box inside the engine campartment. In most cases on a toyota the layout and descriptions of the fuses and relays are printed inside the cover you pull off to expose the fuses and relays. I gave you what I had as far as a wiring diagram as well as the location of the relay box. Now the location of the relay box was in the fuel section of the service manual so that's why I figure it's in there. There also seems to be a relay for the injectors as well. I hope this helps and good luck.

I have to change my fuse for my headlights, but my fusebox cover is in japanese my car is a 1991 mitsubishi 3000gt vr4

Wish I had like an owners manual that just give a layout and what the fuse is for. I don't but found some stuff I did have that may help. I hope it does for your sake. It looks like there's a couple of fuse boxes and relay boxes. Th first picture (below) is a picture of a relay box located in the engine compartment. You should be able to tell if it's the right box by the layout. It looks like in the number 5 position there is a 10 amp fuse but that seems to cover high beams (see description in next picture below). Then there is a multi purpose fuse box and going to gues that's inside the vehicle but when you find it you will be able to tell it's the right one by the layout (see next picture). In the number 10 position there seems to be a fuse that covers the headlights but only if you DON'T have anti-theft. Description of the fuse layout is in the next picture. Then there is the headlamp relay itself. It's located in the relay box somewhere in the engine compartment but again you will be able to tell it's the right one by the layout (see the next picture) It looks like the headlamp relay is in the A-01X position. Wish I could be of more help or at least not having to be so detailed but all I have is the factory service manual. If you do need anymore information please don't hesitate to email me at csautomotivecars@att.net with detailed questions so I can send the correct information. I hope this helps and good luck. here's your pictures.

I want to know how to change the fuel filter on a mazda millenia

Fuel filter is located in the trunk.

1. Relieve fuel pressure
First start up the car in PARK. Open up the hood and pull the Fuel Pump Relay. It looks like a big green fuse. Do this as the car runs. Do not worry the car will stale. Crank engine a few times and turn off ignition switch. Put the relay back in. Disconnect negative battery cable.

2. Reach filter.
This is annoying unless you can fit comfortably in the trunk. Pull out the carpet cover and you will see a metal cover screwed down by 3 screws. Remove these and you will see the fuel filter.

3. Replace
Lay down some shop towels underneith the hoses connected at both ends of the filter as fuel will spill out. What I did was place forceps on each hose to minimize spillage. This is also why we releive fuel pressure so it doesn;t spray in your face. Hoses may be stuck onto filter so I took a very small flathead screwdriver and wedge it between the the hose and the filter nozzels so it will free itself from the filter. Becarful as the fuel filter is filled with fuel. Replace filter and follow your steps back.
