It depends on your driving habits, for severe driving its recomended to have it replaced at 60,000 miles, non-severe driving, is usually around 90,000

2002 lexus es300.is it a non interference engine

Everything points to non-interference. i have a 2005 ES330, I bought in 2007. Fabulous car. The timing belt was checked under warranty, mine was not a warranty replacement, of belt but as it was stripped down, I paid for a new belt anyway.

Does 1999 lexus es300 have timing belt or timing chain?

has a timing belt and if you need to replace it, if you take it to the dealer it is going to cost you well over $1000. On the ES the belt and waterpump should be changed between 90-120 km

AC Belt squeaks on my 2002 Lexus es300

When belts squeak it's either from dryness wear or tension / tightness / looseness affecting alignment.

Check for tightness and you can spray with belt dressing and try some WD40 on the compressor pulley.

If none of that doesn't stop it it very well could be the clutch or pulley is stiff from non use and could need replacing soon.
