Remanufactured are $210.00 to 230.00 dollars. New are $270.00 to 300.00 depending on where you purchase them from. Of course try to get one from local auto parts as these prices reflect. A dealer will cost in excess of $300.00 plus $$$$$$$

Your looking at around $270 for a new one, thats not installed thats just for the part. For legal reasons i wouldnt recomend doing this yourself unless you have the proper equipment and certifications.

Which port do i recharge my ac in my 2000 chryler voyager

The charging adapter will only connect to the right (they are different sizes) port, it is coded, that port is in the low side line from the AC compressor.

How to recharge ac

There are at least two ports on the ac lines in the engine compartment that are covered with black caps. One is bigger than the other to help prevent you from connecting to the wrong side of the compressor.

The AC compressor on my 98 RAV4 is making alot of noise. Can I get a new serpentine belt to delete the AC? Or is there an easier fix? I'm looking for the cheapest solution.

The cheapest solution is to replace the a/c clutch without servicing the a/c. Just leave the a/c off. Even with a bad compressor the clutch will still serve as the idler.

I have a 1999 Grand Voyager. Whenever it rains, the serpentine belt comes off. What's the problem and solution?

Ok..that is a strange one.. I am going to hazard a guess and suggest you look to the AC compressor.

When you run the defroster the ac compressor comes on..typically whenever the outside temp is above 40 degrees.. the ac compressor kicks in to dry out air inside.

Often when it rains.. the windows fog.. you turn on the defrost.. the ac compressor tries to come on.. and.. there ya go.. rather there your serpentine belt goes.

Several things could cause this.. worn belt.. failing belt tension-er... or failing ac compressor..

If the ac compressor is frozen meaing it will not turn..when the electric clutch on the front engages.. it would cause the pulley to stop turning.. and the belt would have a hard time staying on a non rotating part.

Or if the belt tension-er is bad..or the belt is worn.. when the additional load of the compressor kicks in.. it jumps off.

Finally it could be a combination of all three..

Best of luck..

Still need diagram for by-passing a/c on 3.3 engine for plymouth voyager a/c locked up and auto parts store sold me a belt for by-passing a/c but can't get me a diagram for putting it on.I sure hope...

The parts store also sells a pull attachment to replace the ac compressor, and you can still use the same belt, and the bypass pull cost about the same as the belt you just bought, and there is no confusion, the compressor will probley still be in the way trying to bypass the ac compressor .
