Check the small wire on the starter.its in the front middle under radiator.the wire gets a bad contact take it off and clean it.for a draw on the battery find someone with a load tester hook it up and pull a fuse at a time.or take a test light and check bothe sides the ones that are lit up make sure they are when they are needed.i just solved 2 a coin in the cig lighter and another one the clock and memory for the radio.the person did not want to spend much for the radio so i cut the wire for the station memory and clock.

I have a 2002 dodge intrepid cranks but no spark.changed cam shaft sensor and crank sensor., all new plugs but still no spark....please help ..thanks

Hi Leroy, Im glad to help!

Here's a couple things you can try. First, swap the ASD Relay with one of the same type relays in the relay box. If it still doesn't start check every fuse. If it still doesn't start check power and ground at the "COIL PACK" If power and ground are good Replace the Coils Pack. If there is no power and ground at the coil pack then make certain you are getting power from the ignition switch to the ASD Relay. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Leroy.

95 dodge intepid es 3.5 no spark changed coil crank and cam sesors. still no spark. help

are you able to have the engine code read? for free at any autozone or advance auto parts store? sounds exactly like you have a bad computer, located on the passenger side at the kick panel where your right foot would be if you're setting in the passenger side seat.!1st i would check your ecm fuse located under the hood in the main fuse box on the driverside fenderwell, all good? then move towards the computer. thank you for choosing fixya.com!

My dodge dakota truck will not start. It has power we tried to pop the clutch too.

do you mean the truck won`t start and run or do you mean it won`t turn over with the key.if it won`t turn over with the key the you may have a starter problem.if you mean won`t start then it could be the fuel pump not working.with someone cranking the motor you should hear the fuel pump running with the gas cap off and listening at the filler neck.or hear it running listening under the truck at the gas tank.if you don`t hear it then you can hit the tack sharply with your hand or a rubber hammer,it hear the pump start to run then the fuel pump needs replacing.if not check the fuses under the dash and under the hood.if they are good then it may be the pump relay in the relay box under the hood and it should be marked on the box or lid.

Dodge Intrepid 1998 2.7 V6. Won't start. you turn ignition key, it send power but not rich the starter. No ground on under hood fuse box. I did bypass to fuel pump, TCM shoot down and automatic shoot down...

make sure you have spark, sometimes if you start bypassing stuff the ignition works only on a resistor to much electricity and it won't work, not enough and it won't work.

I have a 1998 dodge intriped cranks over but

I just fixed one like yours. When its is very quite near your car turn the key to the run position while listening for the electric fuel pump to run for a couple of seconds. It should be heard every time you put the key in the run position. The pump is in the gas tank.If you cannot hear it then take all the stuff out of your trunk so some one can get in and help you listen. There is a access cover in the back of the trunk that covers the pump. Have the person listen right on top of this cover. If you cannot hear the pump its probably worn out and needs replaced. There is also a fuel pump fuse and a relay. Check the fuse. The relay is under the hood and has many other relays next to it. I just swapped the pump relay with the one next to it to see if the pump would run. All the relays in my Dodge had the same part number on them. They use the same relay in many dodge things in our cars.
Then...after I replaced the pump my car seemed to be running on only 5 cylinders. I had to replace the coil pack under the hood. One of the six sparkplug wires stopped getting spark.
Now she runs like new...
I hope this helps you.

1998 Dodge Intrepid won't turnover

If your talking that engine won't crank over, just click or something randomly, make sure shifter is all the way in park, or try in neutral, otherwise start relay would be another suspect area. Worse case, starter.
