On a Toyota coaster the torsion bars adjust have two lock nuts and a wedge type washer is that threaded robert

when adjusting torsion bar suspension ,the secret is to jack the car completely off the floor so that the wheels hang down. This removes the load on the adjusting bolt

Car won't start have new battery

IF you have replaced the battery and the car still wont start I would recommend you check the following and get back to me if it doesn't work.
1.Make sure the t-bar is pushed all the way forward so it regist that its in park.
2.I would recommend you give the starter motor a good tap if the car starts after this you will need a new starter motor

How do I replace the battery in my 2003 monte carlo? I removed the 2 wire bolts but it feels tight to the bottem as if it is clamped in... what am i missing?

It should be similar to my Impala. There is a clamp wedge held in by one bolt. It is probably in the middle of the two wires (cables), down at the base of the battery. Remove the bolt and the plastic(?) wedge and the battery will be loose.
(On my Impala, I also have to remove the cross bar that passes over the battery.)

I just want to remove the back inside left door panel without breaking it. I removed five screws, do I just pry it off from there?

Start at bottom of door with a small pry bar. Should be some plastic rivots that pop loose. Place pry bar under door panel and turn slowly in a twisting motion. Should start to pop free.

Frount swat bar keeps coming loose from fram. can it be remove with out causing anoyher probablum?

the sway bar is made to keep your car more steady in slippery contitions and while turning. i wouldnt remove it, for safety reasons. but if you spend 20 bucks on new bushings you can put it back together no problem. if you do decide to remove it, no it wont cause a problem as long as you drive carefully
