Question about 2001 Hyundai Accent
Hi, these lamps run on the 10 amp fuse #1. If the fuse is good, the problem may be with the switch on the transmission. You can check the switch by puling the connector off and connecting the terminals in the connector. With the key on, this should turn the lights on. If it doesn't, replace the switch. If you have an automatic transmission, the wires to connect are the red/orange and green wires on the thansmission range sensor attached where the shift cable attaches. If you have a manual transmission, the switch is screwed into the side of the transmission and has just 2 wires on the connector--connect these red/blue and green wires with a large paper clip in the connector. Please let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for using FixYa.
