Question about Ford E-150
The fuel pump relay can stick or be bad. To check this, park the truck in a quiet place and get out and listen for the fuel pump, ( you mitght have to put your ear right against the tank to hear it) If you do got ot he underhood relay fuse panel and feel the relays if it's hot it's on. If you do this next step you might want to be home or where you can get a ride to the parts store ( don't doit when the store is closed ) If you hear the pump with the key off pull the relay and then listen to see if the pumpis off. Ford does'nt mark thew relays so you can refer to the owners manual ( if you have one ) or you can find it by pulling till the pump quits. this relay that you pulled you might be able to shake it or smack it and plug it back in and the pump be off. Noew the good part turn the truck on and see if it starts if it does the relay come back on. now turn it off and listen to see if the pump is off if it is you can try to trust it or go to the parts store and get a new one.
