How do I stop my car showing ABS, POWER STEERING and BREAKING SYSTEM lights and beeping.?

-First able check all the belts. If any loose. (I mean not tight or good tension).
-If all tensions are good then turn on the car, let it run for 10-15 minutes and check the voltage at the battery. If it's below 13 volts
then the problem is the alternator.

Good Luck

Ford E-350 Van steering problem

My guess would be the gear box. Its also possible one of the ball joints has seized up.
You should be able to lift the front end and take the pitman arm off the gear box to find out.

Hard to turn the steering wheel when making turns and smoke coming from underneath the engine. Making a rubbing sound. Any idea what the problem may be? There is plenty of power steering fluid

check the belt that goes to the Power steering pump, if its tight and not slipping, your pump itself may have gone out, remove the belt and see if there is any play in the pulley as you turn it, and wiggle it side to side and top to bottom

I have a 2002 Nissan Altima 3.5, the steering has become harder to turn in the last few months. The fluid level is good, is my power steering pump gone? Or could it be steering rack? Is it easy to check if...

you may need the lower steering shaft. pretty common issue with those. they are starting to pop up more and more now that those cars are getting older (2002 - 2006) models. there is a u-jiont built into the lower steering shaft. those get tight and cause hard steering. have it checked. its the piece that connects to the steering rack and the upper steering column.

Recharged battery on my 2006 HHR and the power steering doesn't work. I can turn my steering wheel without a fight.

Unless they have gone to electric power assist on the power steering, should be no correlation.

However, is your accessory belt for running your alternator and power steering pump ok? Is it tight enough.

While an electrical issue should not affect the power steering, a loose or missing belt could cause the (1) alternator to not properly charge the battery and (2) the power steering to not have power.
