My head lights don't come on but my fog lights

Headlight fuse might be blown. Check the fuse panel and replace it with one rated for the same amperage.

Headlights no longer come on

You probably have two separate problems. If both your low beam headlights were going on and off, the most likely reason is the low beam headlight relay located in the underhood fuse panel. It is designated as #46. Try switching it with #45 relay, right next to it, for troubleshooting purposes.
For the fog light check relay #39

Headlights are out but it appears the bulbs are still fine, what else might be the cause. i don't think it's wiring and i can't tell in regards to the fuse but the fog lights are still functional. help

The fog lights should be on a different circuit then the headlights so that's not conclusive as to whether the fuse is good. I assume both headlights are out? Locate the fuse block and look for a fuse labeled hdlmp or similar. If you have a test light, use it to determine you have power on both sides of the fuse with the key on, you may have to turn the headlight switch on as well. If you have power on only one side of the fuse, the fuse is blown and replacing it should get your lights working. However it may blow again as there might be a short. If you have power on neither side of the fuse then there is a problem with the headlight switch, fuse block, ignition switch or wiring. Let us know what you find with the fuse.

Headlights wont turn on

The sound system was causing to much of an unpredictable power usage on the headlights and the fuse has blown as a safety precaution.

On my 1999 grand am se my parking lights come on but my headlights dont???? even my fog lights come on but no headlights

The sensor should be on the dash some where on the drivers side or in the middle. Check the fuse for the headlights then try the sensor.
