Hi,verify throttle cable is ok and connection at throttle body is good.If cable is ok,you need to do diagnostics on the computer..Every thing is speculation without data from computer. But i would check the throttle position sensor and the mass air flow sensor.Sometimes the maf sensors elements get dirty and cant read the correct amount of air flow entering engine. If this is the case, you can clean the elements with brake clean...Good Luck!!!

Have chevy s10 4 cyl. 2.5 pickup. For some reason it is using gas. I get 4 miles to a gallon. Can smell raw gas when standing behind it.

well you leaking gas either from your fuel pump tank float assembly inside the tankand gasket is bad that seals the fuel in or possibly a bad fuel neck aka filler tube also check your fuel lines and make sure all clamps are tight

Car dies when running and wont start again, i spay starting fluid in the throtle and it starts but if i let go of the gas it dies again and i can't start it normaly, fuel pump about 4 months old, new fuel...

Sounds like throttle position sensor to me. It will let engine go dead instead of maintaining an idle rpm. Try disconnecting battery, and after leaving disconnected for a couple of minutes, crank vehicle and maintain a steady rpm with gas pedal. Doesn't have to be revved up high just steady. Called relearning tps. Sensor might be bad but I would try this before buying a part first.

When do you change timing belt on 2002 Ford Ranger Pickup w/ 4-cyl 2.3, auto trans, with 85,000 miles?

It is recommended that you change the timing belt at 80000 miles, but I had one with over 200,000 miles that never had a problem.

Hi, I have a 2006 Altima with 31,500 miles. Recently, the engine start shaking when car is Idle but I still feel the shake when driving or at red lights. My second problem is a weird loud (humming) noise...

You don't need to change the spark plugs since it has only 31.5 K. The plugs should last 60K. There is a an adjustment at the gas cable end at engine to increase the idle a little bit. You can increase rpm at idle to 600 RPM. Since your RPM at idle is low that why it is shaking at idle, red lights. Let me know it it is shaking at high speed ( 2500 RPM)

hello from what you explained i take it theres no check engine lights on what it sounds like is a basic increase on your idle screw get somone to help push pedal down underhood look to see where gas cable pulls back when gas pedals appled have them release slowly now watch where it stops against a set screw that is your adjustment rpm range should be somewhere between 750-900 rpm depending on vehicle if this doesnt solve most likely tps sensor{ throttle position sensor} goodluck
