Check the batter terminals clean them. Check all fuses, Check the cable going to the starter, clean all connections to the starter. If it still doesn't work jump the starter with a jumper wire to the + side of the battery.

I replaced my ignition now my 2006 chevy equinox wont start?

There could be a lot of things going on here, need more information...
If the motor wont turn over when you turn ther key, is there enough power? Charge battery, check charging system.
If the motor turns over but does not start, could be anything from the electronics, fuel delivery etc.
If it just clicks when you turn the key it could be a starter.
Hope this at least gets you started in the right direction.

On my Buick Regal, the lights come on but wont turn over, what is wrong

Just to clarify, you can not hear the starter turning the engine over? If this is the case the first thing you need to do is verify power on the small wire at the starter when you hold the key in the crank position. If there is power than make sure there is power on the large wire all the time. If both of the above are true than you need a new starter. One other thing you should do before replacing the starter is make sure the engine turns over by hand. You can do this with the key off by turning the crank pulley clockwise with a 15/16 socket or wrench. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using FixYa.com!

Key wont turn in ignition. Dont want to hear the key is bent. Tried everything to get it to turn, but wont. It happened earlier today and after 20 minutes of giggling the key it finally turned over. ...

The problem can only be one of three things. Steering column, ignition or key. When there is tension on the steering wheel it will prevent the key from turning. If the linkage in your ignition is bad it will prevent it from turning. If your key looks worn or marred (it doesn't always have to be bent) it wont turn.

Does the starter for 98 buick regal custom have a in line fuse and how do i locate it my car wont start it wont even turn over the battery has a full charge and i had the starter tested it passed so the...

There is no inline fuse but there are a couple of things you can check.

One check for power on the large cable at the starter. There should be 12 volts all the time.

Check for power on the small purple wire at the starter. There should be power any time the key is in the crank position.

Let me know which is missing and I'll be happy to help you further figure it out.

I have a 1991 cadillac deville when i turn the key lights and every thing works but car wont turn over

You need to check and see if you have power to the starter, the purple wire while someone is turning the key to run.Should have at least 9 volts to the solenoid.Sometimes if you tap the starter with a hammer while turning key to run and it turns over it is the starter.

Wont turn over with key?

W/out knowing details on your vehicle, it makes it very difficult to help. Year? Stick or auto>? engine/trans info. Does it have an alarm installed or a factory security system?

Common checks would be park/neutral switch (Or clutch switch if its a stick), fuses (some cars actually fuse the start signal), old alarm brain that has activated and cut off starter signal, and do the cluster lamps go into SELF TEST and all light up when you turn the key to CRANK. If the lamps do the normal cranking bulb check, then likely your ignition switch is working. depending on the year, ford ignition switches sometymes could be a common problem. But without info to look up a diagram, cant offer more help than generalities

Car wont start when i turn the key

The first thing you need to check is whether the key has a pellet in it or "chip". If it does...the problem is most likely your key lock cylinder. Go buy a new key lock cylinder....KEEP YOUR OLD KEY. Take your new lock cylinder down to any Chevrolet dealer to find out what the VATS number is for your key....then have the dealer cut you a new key with that same VATS number...then go to your vehicle and remove the negative battery cable...this does two things...1. It resets the computer after a five minute period of no power...2.. allows you to work on the steering column without power on it.

Remove the steering wheel with the aid of repair manual.

Put the new key lock cylinder with the wire running down the steering column. Then put the steering column back together....Hook up the negative battery cable, then use your new key that was CUT and your car should start

Blower wont turn off

If you turn the key off and it wont shut off the heater then there are some interesting things you need to check. The first would be the whole ignition switch. When you shut off the key, the power should stop to that accessory. If that is okay then you need to check the controls for the heater. The issue with no heat is one of a blend door being stuck and this could be the controls again.
