It would be difficult to trace it without raising the car on a lift but this is possible. Have a buddy listen to the noise while you are driving. The best method because of its accuracy is putting the car on the lift or jack up the car on each of its sides. Moving the wheels one by one to check where the metal to metal sound is coming from.

remove the wheel and firmly hold the hub that encloses the wheel bearing. Now see if you can rock the hub
If so the bearing is bad
You will need to remove the braking system first to gain access to remove the hub assembly
the bolts are on the back side which is 3 of them

Can I replace the front bearings myself or do I have to buy the whole hub.

Hello, the front wheel bearings are not a servicable part. you have to replace the front hub bearing assemblies. here is a picture.

Bad Wheel Bearing on a 1994 Toyota Camry should I also replace the abs sensor?

You should only replace the sensor if it is damaged. Most Japanese made vehicles have bearings that are pressed in to the wheel hub. Your local parts store should have a new hub assembly that comes with the bearings already pressed in it. If you know of a machine shop that will press new bearings in the old hub and remove the old bearings that may be a little less expensive. They need to be removed and installed using a bearing press. Please rate me on this answer.

TRAC and VSC light on my sequoia is always on, took it to a mechanic to see the code and he told me could not communicate to the computer and it could be loose wire or blown fuse. I checked all the fuses...

is it 4wd? if so then you might have a bad hub bearing? is it making a loud hmming type noise? kinda like a plane taking off? i just changed 2 hub bearings on a rand prix and the trac light and the abs lights were on all the time. replaced the hub bearings and went away. to find out if you do have a bad hub bearing jack up each tire and grab it at the top of the wheel with one hand and grab it at the bottom with the other hand. now try to wiggle it. if it moves at all then the bearing is bad if it doesnt then thats not your problem. also check the abs connections at the hubs as well. the plug and hub bearing is all one unit. if the plug is bad the the hb will need to be replaced even if the hub isnt bad.

A WEIRD SOUND IS COMING FROM THE WHEELS WHILE ITS RUNNING, WHAT CAN IT BE?, THE FASTER I GO THE STRONGER THE SOUND

sounds like a bad hub . jack it up and rotate the tire you'll feel which hub is bad . sealed hubs only last a short time as there a sealed bearing . new premium hub runs about 100$
once you know what side / remove tire , remove brake caliper / remove big outside axle nut / theres bolts on the backside holding hub to assembly then just do the reverse with a new hub / should cure the bad hub noise.good luck.

I JUST NEED TO KNOW WHAT IS INVOLVED IN REPLACING THE FRONT WHEEL HUBS ON A 2005 MUSTANG THE FRONT RIGHT IS STARTING TO GRIND PRETTY BAD WHEN I MAKE RIGHT TURNS.

looks like they have a sealed bearing and are sold as a bearing hub assy for about $140. to replace it remove the wheel, then the cotter pin and nut in the center of the hub. then pull the hub/bearing off. this is easier said than done but with penetrating oil, hard work, and a large hammer you should be able to remove it.
