Question about 2006 GMC Sierra 3500
I am trying to replace my fuel filter. (I have had it replaced professionally in the past, but want to do it myself.) A simple question: How do I create access to remove and replace the filter canister? Do I have to remove the battery?? Something else???
Remove the passenger side inner fender. There should be 14 small plastic clips that hold it in place. Once you move the inner fender out of the way you will have unobstructed access and full view of the filter. This process should only take a few minutes and will save a lot of time and avoid a mess!
