I don't recommend a used radiator for your car or any car as the radiator is such a VITAL component in the operation of an engine. That said I recommend you do some research and try to find a NEW radiator as many manufacturers supply an all aluminum unit (as opposed to aluminum core with plastic tanks) Brrrrrr. Anyway these aftermarket radiators can be had for $100 or less and perform better than the factory unit. Good Luck

Are 1999 Ford Contour parts interchangable with 1998 Mercury Mystique parts?

The vehicles, mechanically, are virtually identical. as long as the motor specs match then you can swap,if they don't then you'll neeed the tranny as well.

optimally about 600 milliamps; up to 800 could be considered normal. if it's pulling more than an amp, it needs to be lubricated or replaced.

What is the Procedure for removal of the radiator fan from the Mercury Mystique(1996 model)

I had the same problem with my Mystique. It ended up being a plug on the top side of the fuse box. The plug had overheated and melted, causing a bad contact to the circuit. Start by pulling the fuse box out from under the dash. It is modular and will just unplug from the circuits. Look for a burnt spot or overheated wires. We found a new plug at a junk yard.

Are there other Ford vehicles that interchange transmissions with a 1996 Mercury Mystique?

Mercury Mystique is just  a rebadged version of the Ford Contour and uses the same base as the Ford Mondeo first gen.
All power trains are identical.

Where do you put water in a 1996 mercury mystique. I can't tell where the radiator is. I only see the coolant container

If you fill up the coolant container it will get into the radiator if it is low. If your radiator is completely empty remove the highest hose on the engine and fill through the top of the motor. Otherwise the coolant container is the only place to add coolant. Hope that helps!

What is a Ford Mystique(1996 model)

Hello,

The value of the vehicle is roughly about $2000, in excellent condition not needing any work... 1995 and 1996 where not good years for the Mercury Mystique and Ford Contour... 1996 was only the second year the vehicle was in production and it had many flaws and problems... I would think your decision over very carefully... Sorry, If it was my decison to make, I would not purchase that particular make, model and year for the price you listed!

I hope this has helped, Bill Andrade
