COULD BE STOPPED UP FUEL FILTER OR FAULTY FUEL PUMP.REPLACE FUEL FILTER AND AIR FILTER. YOU HAVE NO POWER ENGINE DIES, ENGINE NOT GETTING ENOUGH FUEL.IF REPLACING FUEL FILTER DONT HELP CHECK FUEL PRESSURE SHOULD BE 41 - 47 PSI.

Is your check engine light on?

It sounds like it could be you TPS (throttle position sensor)

If it's not getting the right signal when you step on the gas pedal, it won't let the computer know what position it's in, when the throttle is open it will let in to much air, but not give it enough fuel for that amout of air.....

Idles roughly, then low when stopped or in park, then dies. Decreasing gas mileage. Slow to accelerate

Sometimes that's caused by a vacuum leak near the manifold area.

Sometimes air in the coolant will cause an idle problem. Air will keep the air temp sensor from sending proper info.
Hope this helps.

sounds like a crank sensor problem, or cheap fuel and engine in "get home mode"

I have a Hyundai Trajet 2002 Gasoline. I have a problem with keeping the engine alive.

The engine is running very rich that is why the exhaust is emitting black smoke. The engine needs a tune up so the air fuel mixture is correct.

My 95 Honda Civic starts fine and idles ok, but when I get ready to go the car almost dies out, then goes really slow like it is getting no gas. But after a few feet the car takes off like normal. what is...

This sounds like a bad TPS (trottle position sensor). When you step on the accelerator the TPS tells the computer you want to accelerate, and the computer then increases the fuel duration of the injectors. With out that signal the computer is getting additional info from the increased airflow into the engine, so it then increases the fuel to the engine, but you are getting a hesitation, due to the delay in the increase of fuel to the engine. Hope this helps and good luck :O)

When my ac is on my truck seems to be driving kinda slow. Meaning hard to accelerate. Is this normal when running the AC?

The a/c compressor does in fact require several horse power to properly compress the gas (freon) into a liquid state for cooling at the condenser before traveling to the expansion tube and evaporator. Depending upon engine size and condition, this extra load on the engine can result in a sizable % of available power and thus reduce performance dramatically. Of course, the larger the engine and better its condition (mechanically & performance/tune-up) then the less noticeable the a/c load will be.

p1545 is a throttle control malfuction code

You can try to reset the throttle body by opening the hood and drivers door then turning your key to the accessory position. You will hear the throttle body whir and click. It may take up to two minutes. Afterward, the car will relearn your habit of driving and adjust accordingly.
