Question about 2001 Saab 9-3
I believe the part of your control that opens and closes the different doors inside the heater box has some faulty "O" rings and is letiing the vacuum leak off or leak across the control valve. This requires removing the control panel, disassembling said panel and replacing o rings utilizing a VERY LIGHT coat of lithium grease or mineral oil on each o ring. Be sure all parts are kept hospital clean. One speck of dirt and you could have the same problem of vacuum leaking across all over again. Good Luck
