I'd like to know how you checked the cat, but if it really is OK then you most certainly have a plugged fuel filter. They are really cheap so give that a try.

93 chevy g20 5.7 has no acceleration up hills are worse idles fine revs up fine but gets warm and nothing under a load 20mph up hill

Could be a restricted exhaust, possibly the catalytic converter. Easiest way to test is to drop the "Y" pipe and see if performance is restored. Obviously it will be very noisy when testing.

Wont pull a hill only get up to 20 mi.

That could be a number of issues, lets start with the most common:
1. bad gas or plugged fuel filter
2. needs a tune up
3 clogged catalytic converter
4. weak or leaking spark plug wires
5. weak coil
6. blown head gasket. check your oil and anti-freeze, if they look like chocolate milk
7. If your check engine light is on, take it to a local auto zone or advance auto, they will read your vehicles codes for free and tell you if a sensor is bad!

Loosing anti freeze engine over heating

replace the viscous fan hub or check the electric fan operation as you do not have a forced air flow at idle. When the engine is working hard at low revs (pulling up hill) there is insufficient road air flow and at idle at lights there is no road air flow

2002 Santa Fe 127174 miles. On hills car slows dwn, rpm is climbing, speed is droping. on steep hills from a dead stop rpm's are 4,000 speed is just below 20mph. have had the fluid flushed twice.

sounds like your transmission is going bad fast. get it checked asap to see if it can still be saved. aamco will take a look at it. if its completely bad, then getting a new transmission might be cheaper than getting the current one fixed so look into that!!

After driving for about an hour...then if you go up a hill or steep grade it acts like it is going to die. As long as you are on level ground it is fine..only happens driving up hill. The car will go...

you may have a bad catalytic converter, because when the exhaust system get hot it melts and constrict the exhaust flow . bring your car to a muffler shop and have them check the exhaust system pressure. they normally do this for free.
