this is one of the most common failures , on track-kicks.
the cause is easy:
not replacing the cable at 100k or lubing it every 30k.
the acid test (created by me) is the 1 inch rule.
if the bell arm moves 1 inch (zero play) and the clutch fails to disengage then the clutch is bad.
if it does not move 1inch the cable system is bad.
easy huh?
see the full sad stories here. and cures. (suzuki stills sells the parts for a little while longer.. they are Chapter 11 here)

i have all P/N , for parts at the suz dealer, for this. ask.

My 1989 nissan maxima needs clutch linkage adjusted. how do u fix tht ?

This car uses a hydraulic clutch where brake fluid moves the clutch disc instead of a cable or linkage.
You might have a fluid or cylinder problem, or the clutch may be worn out depending on the symptom.

you have a high pressure oil leak most likely caused by a blown out o-ring in one of your oil rail block off plugs. it is possible that it may be an injector, but i am banking on a blown out o-ring. good-day !!

Sit up on the clutch paddle, follow the clutch paddle up under the dash, the rod that goes through the fire wall to the clutch master cylinder, sit around that rod, will have a six pin connector going to it.

Sounds like the system is out of refrigerant. Unfortunatley, it takes the older refrigerant R-12 instead of the newer one 134A. The compressor needs 2lbs of refrigerant for it to come on.

I would check the plug going into the alternator. They have been known to fail at times. I would also check the fuse for the alternator if equipped.

open your bonnet check to see @ gearbox if the-res is cable, or a cylinder, the cable is Usualy visible on the top of the gearbox if theres a cable theres no clutch flu-ed needed. Note that your gearbox uses oil. Usualy on older models like 1989 the use a clutch cable no flu-ed needed
